About South Way Prep

Built by sellers.
Run by professionals.

We’ve spent over a decade selling on Amazon and Walmart. We built our own prep operation because nothing on the market worked the way we needed it to. Now we’re opening it to others.

Our story

Why we’re here.

We’ve been Amazon sellers since 2016, expanding into Walmart WFS as soon as that program launched. Private label, wholesale, multi-channel — we’ve done it all, and we’ve hit every operational wall that comes with growing volume on these platforms.

By 2020 we built our own prep operation. Not as a side business — because no third-party prep center could match the standards we needed. Sharp eye on every label. Photo proof of every shipment. Honest answers when something went wrong.

For years that operation served our own inventory. Then in January 2026, Amazon shut down their FBA Prep service. Tens of thousands of sellers were suddenly looking for somewhere to send their inventory — and most prep centers were already overloaded, opaque on pricing, and built by people who never sold on Amazon themselves.

That was our moment. We had the warehouse, the team, the systems, the seller-side perspective — and the spare capacity to take on outside work. We opened the doors. South Way Prep is that operation.

In one line
We didn’t build a prep service to enter the market. We built it because we needed it ourselves.

South Florida. Between two ports.

South Way Prep warehouse interior

Our warehouse sits in Pompano Beach, Florida — 15 miles from Port of Miami, 8 miles from Port Everglades, and minutes from Miami International Air Cargo. East Coast import access in hours, not days.

The floor is 4,200 sq ft of pallet racking, prep stations, FNSKU labeling, outbound packing, and dedicated storage. Forklift, pallet jacks, photo station, dual-channel routing for Amazon and Walmart.

We’ve built a decade of remote-first communication with sellers, suppliers, and carriers. Email, scheduled calls, photo confirmations, exception alerts — answered in hours, not days. And whenever you want to see the operation in person, our doors are open.

The team

Who handles your inventory.

Michael
Team Lead
→ Operations, strategy, escalations
Most prep centers were built by logistics people who learned Amazon later. We built ours the other way around — as sellers first. That’s why we know what matters when your inventory is at stake.
Kate
Warehouse Lead
→ Receiving, prep, QC, outbound
Every pallet that leaves here, I see. If something looks off — wrong label, damaged box, missing component — it doesn’t ship until I check it. That’s the part Amazon never gives you back.
Mark
Logistics Coordinator
→ Carriers, shipping, tracking, claims
Carriers will tell you what they want you to hear. I track every outbound shipment from pickup to delivery confirmation. If a load is late, I know about it before the seller does.
Eirin
Client Success
→ Onboarding, ongoing communication
Trust isn’t built with marketing copy. It’s built when I tell a seller their shipment is late before they notice — and we already have a fix in motion. Every honest answer about a small problem buys credit for the bigger ones.

The floor is real. Come visit.

We’re not running a virtual warehouse or a marketing site over a UPS Store. The floor is real, the team is real, the inventory you ship will physically be here. If you’re a serious seller considering us — drop us a line, we’ll show you around.
